Royal Swazi – A great venue for an African golf holiday1st December '15

royal veranda

There are some tremendous holes on offer at Royal Swazi on a Golfing Wild African golf holiday, none more so than the 10th.  It’s a short par 4 measuring around 300 yards.  The tee shot requires accuracy rather than length to a sloping fairway dropping down to the trees on the left.  Trust me, you don’t want to go down there!  Once you’ve found the middle of the fairway it’s a short approach over the stream to a slightly raised green with bunkers at the back.  Leave it short and you’re in the brook and you don’t want to go in there either!   Hit it long and the bunkers await leaving a delicate shot back onto the green.

The clubhouse balcony overlooks the hole where golfers can enjoy an ice cold drink and some food after their round as well as admiring the way you plotted your way down the 10th and rolled your putt in for a well-earned par.

An African golf holiday at its best!
