Authentic African accommodation...

Mlilwane Wildlife SanctuaryMLBH1
The Mlilwane Rest Camp is found in the southern corner of the reserve where indigenous trees tower over the camp overlooking a wetland system which is home to hippopotamus, crocodile and a variety of water birds including infrequent visiting fish eagles. The camp is unfenced, yet safe as only smaller species of wildlife occur in the Sanctuary. It is tranquil and relaxed with a continual stream of animals such as impala, warthog, nyala and ostrich walking between the facilities quietly tolerant of human presence.

One of the attractive features of the Rest Camp is the Hippo Haunt Restaurant that overlooks the hippo pool providing good, wholesome meals including venison. The restaurant consists of a cozy inside area with a fireplace and comfortable couches as well as two outside wooden deck areas where one can enjoy meals and drinks from the bar.

Accommodation: The accommodation is in the style of traditional beehive huts and have the feel of a Swazi homestead, all semi-enclosed by kraal fencing, creating mini villages in the camp. The en-suite huts are beautifully decorated and exceptionally spacious inside and in keeping with the surrounding area. The camp has electricity and fans are provided in the huts for the hotter nights although the huts are designed to provide a cool enclave from the African heat.  Stunning authentic African accommodation.

Hlane Royal National Parkhlane accomm

There is an open-air restaurant and a game-viewing deck where you can sit back and enjoy the view of the waterhole where rhino and elephant often come down to drink – a perfect place for sundowners, tasty meals and relaxation. The camp has no electricity providing uninterrupted and peaceful nights with only the distant roar of lions to lull you to sleep. Perfect.

Each en-suite rondavel is wonderfully designed with a unique style and has its own shady area for sitting and relaxing. Each rondavel is positioned away from the main camp in it’s own secluded place.

Nkonyeni Golf Estate
bed room 1The accommodation and main clubhouse where breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served are spaced out in the estate and with this in mind we provide golf buggies for the duration of your stay at Nkonyeni. This makes getting around the course and estate easy especially if you want to visit the spa, one of two swimming pools, the tennis court or simply have a drink in the bar. The choice is yours.

Accommodation: Discreetly situated around the golf course are a number of delightful villas. Each villa has four bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge area and a small plunge pool. The villas look out onto the golf course providing an incredible vista from your own terrace. The style of the villas are simply luxurious and provide a tranquil environment after a day of golfing or exploring the local area.

Mkhaya Game Reserve
MKTFT-AB-14-03Laid out along the peaceful banks of a dry river bed is Stone Camp and it gets its name from the dolerite rocks used in the construction of the stone and thatch cottages.

In the communal area an enormously tall fig tee along with sausage and knobthorn trees provide a lush under-canopy giving it a year-round subtropical feel providing a cool area to eat in during the heat of the day. In the evening spend time around the campfire and dine out under a starlit African sky.

Step across the dry riverbed to Kirky’s hide, where you can watch animals at eye level or from above as they come in to drink at the waterhole. Antelope and zebra along with the local population of baboons are often seen here and an afternoon of bird spotting is a popular pastime.

Accommodation: Each of the 13 cottages are laid out in the riverine forest, linked by pathways and lined with paraffin lanterns at night. There is no electricity here giving you a true bush experience. Each cottage, veiled for privacy, is open to the external bush, giving visitors a safe and unique perspective with a true bush experience. At night, mosquito nets are drawn down around your bed giving your sleeping area a palatial feel, totally unique.
